Welcome to the Painswick Surgery Website
COVID-19 SURGERY NOTICE
We are currently working with minimal staff and in order to ensure the Painswick Surgery remains in a position to offer essential services over the coming weeks, we are taking steps to minimise unnecessary COVID-19 exposure.
All pre-booked face to face appointments must now default to telephone consultations.
PLEASE DO NOT COME TO THE SUGERY.
If you have an urgent medical problem and need to speak to a GP, please telephone the surgery at 8.30am. In order to stop Coronavirus (COVID-19) spreading, we are not seeing any patients until they have spoken to a GP or nurse on the telephone.
Our receptionists will make you a telephone appointment with a GP or nurse.
The GP or Nurse may be able to deal with your medical problem over the phone. If the GP or Nurse who speaks to you needs to see you face to face, they will make an appointment for you to come here, after they have spoken to you as long as you do not have Coronavirus symptoms.
If you have Coronavirus symptoms, Please visit NHS 111 online, or call 111, who will be able to advice you further.
If you start to feel seriously ill while you are waiting for the GP or nurse to ring you, and you think it`s a medical emergency dial 999.
Thank you for your understanding in protecting our most vulnerable patients.
All prescriptions will be sent to a nominated pharmacy. If you have not already nominated a pharmacy, please contact the surgery to do so.
If you usually drop your prescription request into the surgery, Please post your request in the green box outside the surgery gate.
Patient Access Online appointment booking is currently suspended until further notice.
