Consultations are made by appointment only and can be made by telephoning 01452 812545 or calling in person when the surgery is open.
You may book a routine appointment with the doctor of your choice. However, if you feel you need to be seen more urgently, you will be called by the on-call GP on the same day.
We offer pre-bookable appointments in advance, and also a number of 'On the Day' slots which we release at 8.30 am every morning to try and cope with the increasing demand.
You may also hear the word 'telephone triage' offered to you as a way of speaking to a doctor that day for a very urgent matter.
If there are no routine appointments available, and all the 'on the day' slots have gone, if you urgently need to be seen that day, you will.
We cannot guarantee which doctor you will speak to or see; in some cases the Practice Nurse may be able to help and the receptionist will ask you to give a brief outline of the problem.......patients are seen in order of emergency, not the order they present at the desk. So, for example, a patient with chest pain will be seen more quickly than a patient with tonsillitis. We hope you will understand the need to 'triage' emergency patients.
